Mission Statement
The Scottish Terrier Club of Michigan, Inc. is accredited by the American Kennel Club
and was founded 73 years ago as a non-profit Specialty Dog Club dedicated to
preserving and maintaining the natural qualities of the Scottish Terrier.
Our Club includes breeders, companion Scottie owners and fanciers of the breed.
The STCM is devoted to educating and mentoring new and existing Scottie owners, as well as
working toward eradicating diseases and genetic defects through research and quality breeding.
Club volunteers organize activities as well as social events during each year that bring our
members together to help accomplish these goals.
The STCM, with the support of each
and every member, will continue to enhance the qualities of our beloved breed.
